The GOP’s “big, beautiful bill” would be the biggest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in U.S. history.

On average, someone in the top 0.1% would gain around $390,000 next year.

But someone in the bottom 20% would lose $820, and nearly twice as much—$1,545—in 2033.

About half of all births are covered by Medicaid.

Over a third of all kids have health care thanks to Medicaid.

More than half of all nursing home residents are covered by Medicaid.

So understand this: when the GOP attacks Medicaid, they attack families in every community.

How many teachers does it take to do a subtraction problem?

One, because it only takes one teacher to make a difference.

Today's teaching win: Students were working on a problem for about 20 minutes until I told them class is almost over. They didn't want to leave and they didn't want to be told the answer, so they stayed after class until they got it.

Here is a useful drive to out how much federal funding your #Ohio School District receives. Then ask your neighbors in that district how they think the local government will make up those funds...

~75% voucher kids were already in private school anyway.

The other 25% suffer horrific results after transfer.

The last 4 statewide studies found learning loss similar to Katrina and COVID impacts.

Why? Sub-prime & pop-ups the only schools available to most voucher transfers.
