Mum saw Mark Steel at the Hay Festival yesterday afternoon. He told us about his cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. We love Mark’s humour and he was on good form yesterday. A reminder to cherish each other, and life.

Mum saw @ledbydonkeys.org at the Hay Festival on Friday. They were talking about their activism and how we can all do something, even community activities. It’s harder to break a united community with lies. They were tremendous.

Good news friends. After a surprising visit to the V.E.T where she did a VERY thorough examination, the poop situation is sorted. Looks like I’d pulled a muscle or something & couldn’t get comfy to poop. Had some anti inflammatory meds & all is well again. Here I am on Barry Island beach afterwards.

It looks like there are random yellow lines on the barrage near Penarth. If you stand in a particular place and line them up they make three circles. It’s a public art installation by Felice Varini and it’s called ‘Three ellipses for three locks’.
