For the final day of #tober2025 I decided to keep with the spirit of it and do a quick thing of Chili waving as way of saying thanks to @tamlin123.art for doing this event.

#tober2025 day 30 and I drew a lot of things before I decided to fully do and finish this lil guy.
I'm still in pain from intentionally hitting the "don't save changes" button then instantly realizing what I had just done seconds later.
Just a lil guy (not like actually small though) with a long neck, funny tail, and a funny birdlike head. I still can't tell what makes something cute or scary but I think they turned out adorable in that not traditionally adorable way

Had fun playing with a new brush and practicing some things that @thekoboldking.bsky.social showed me to get the paintbucket tool to work better.
For day 28 of #tober2025 I decided to draw vampire bird in their natural habitat, pretending it's halloween all month with the ghostly kobold
Red lights and smoke fill the room behind the vampire, dressed in their finest robes and highlighted by the flame lighting the porch. Strips of paper with lights running along them help bring the illusion of lightning this night in the mountains. The local kobold that likes to dress up like a ghost and pretend it's halloween all October is glad to have someone else that enjoys this month as much as they do.

Day 27 of #tober2025 and I drew the kobold running the hat shop from the D&D campaign today. Even though we didn't talk to them I still wanted to draw kobold working at a hat shop because fun description.
A red kobold wearing a pink dress and a derby hat (I swear that's what the hat that I looked up looked like, I wasn't expecting to look it up now and learn it's a different kind of hat). In the background are spools of string, a sewing needle with the hole at the tip to be used in a sewing machine, some weaved fabric, and a tear being patched and sewn over.

Day 26 of #tober2025 and I decided to make another reference to the D&D, this time the mechanical bird toy my artificer plans on making using the essence of one of the enemies that exploded the party pet (and everyone else but we only care when the party pet takes damage)

#tober2025 day 24. It's important to specify that you want to pet a specific kobold, otherwise a spellcaster might try to help you in a creative way.
"Polymorph" "Asked to pet a kobold" "Ripp" A person getting turned into a kobold with the polymorph spell. Polymorph and a little bit of smoke as the method of transformation.

I drew a lot of weird things today but that's just a standard birds night out in #tober2025. Wait, wasn't it kobolds night? These lights are bright~
day 23 and I took inspiration from wild night scenes in shows like the big bang theory when doing the hair tufts.

quick one for day 21 of #tober2025 but I kept getting hit with a ravenous hunger. So I drew avali trying to resist eating the cake baked for a friend.
Funny thing is I don't normally get hungry and have to remember to eat.
Avali with high energy slamming to the table as an overwhelming hunger overtakes them. Thoughts of eating the cake made for a friend are creeping in but the hunger is strong.

#tober2025 day 20, I normally do little doodles when playing D&D but today I ended up making a more complete one.
There was a guard sleeping in their chambers and we needed their key, but when my kobold Baeskrik got caught they attempted to convince the guard they were their patron. Totally worked.

The hallway is filled with a bright shifting rainbow caused by a magic floating orb the warlock has. In the back is Cylah, the warlock character that has a genie patron that constantly changes their outfit and treats Cylah as a pet. The right is the rooms dark walls and to the left is the rest of the prison wing getting illuminated funky colors by the rainbow disco light.

#tober2025 day 19. I got tired and what I drew human in the funny style I sometimes do- first time coloring anything with this design, normally just stick black and white.

Anyway guy has spotted adorable creature and needed to stop to admire.

day 18 of #tober2025 and I saw that @adventurecamo.bsky.social drew a yinglet, considering that I have liked the comic they are from for a long time I decided I should draw one as well. Now their kobold is a yinglet.
Also tried out ClipStudioPaint for the first time with this.
A Yinglet that looks a lot like Camo waving at the screen. The background being Christmassy was an accident please don't crucify me.

#tober2025 day 17: The gang deciding to strike a pose on your truck while you are gone.
Honestly done this before with friends so thought it would be funny to have kobold on truck

Got to where I can't tell if it's getting better or worse the more I do, the shading is still one of those changes.
An orange kobold is posing on a lifted humvee while an Ork leans against it. It's like your average farming town antics except with fantasy characters. The Humvee has a broken radiator grill, duck tape holding parts like the window together, and tears in the seats. But the tires are surprisingly nice. I have actually posed on a friends car like the kobold and had another friend lean against it. Except the sizes were reversed when we did it.

#tober2025 day 16: didn't have much time so I decided to make a little joke for @manedkriss.bsky.social.
I'm really enjoying posting and making something new every day, even if I sometimes have to rush to squeak in before the new day.
"Choose yourself" A character select screen of sorts. Deciding how you want to be is hard and daunting, the grey figures standing before you all but capturing how you want to be represented. Nothing seems right in the grey. Hope to capture that you could scroll through these for years and never find yourself. On the left you have the silhouette of a bird character. Middle is somewhere between a pig and a cat. On the right you have what could be kobold, though technically is just generic reptile.

Day 15 of #tober2025 and I spent a lot of time playing around with brushes. Honestly I was planning on doing a lot more with this but it got a bit late and my computer started acting weird so I'm going to start a new document tomorrow.

#tober2025 day 14, I decided to go for the vibe of "creature that was supposed to be easy but ended up being really hard to beat."
Think that one kobold that keeps dodging every attack against all odds
The sands of the desert are shifting and strange, a storm rages. There is no light except a strange figure in the center of the void. Like it is outshining everything else. Also decided to do swirls at the sides because this was mostly me just playing with colors and trying to get an image that goes for more of a feel than a literal.

Day 13 of #tober2025 and I decided to go with a more strange post of getting surprised by the light. Originally was planning on making the outside of where the light hits an entirely different environment.
- Ever wonder about that giant eye? Well now we have a light that's kind of like it!

Day 11: Wanted to draw some kobolds for #tober2025. Not drawing kobolds for so long was unnatural and so 5 new kobolds.
One without the text for if anyone wants to add their own kobolds or room or whatever.

Day 10: Was going to get this finished earlier and less tired for #tober2025 but @yourcousinvinnie.bsky.social and others I definitely didn't forget the usernames of kept me up talking about sonic and watching onepiece intros. Two things I don't normally do... Unless they keep me up late
Black bird waving at you. I did the thing again where I relied on shading to make this work and didn't shade properly so it's hard to see but the "hair" does look more interesting than normal. Background kind of just did that through some weird math interaction and I decided to keep it like that. Presumably the only thing that changes is the color but it sure seems like the brightness is changing as well.
