I got my hair done on Friday and for some reason… I felt weird after leaving the appointment, but I cannot pinpoint why. I’m not gonna let that stylist do my hair again.

I relate to that “why bother” so well. But Jean Grae once said “I’m still too young and dumb to call it quits.” So here we are.
Every time I feel some kind of optimism about falling in love again, a Vietnam flashback reminds me I probably will never have the kind of love I want, so why bother?
