Having googled various subjects the past weeks, I realise that the STUPIDITY (or rather, the lack of being able to read) of people is staggering. Hundreds of YT vids, and half percentage of info in text format. I really feel bad about the forthcoming of humanity. #stupidvideos #readingFTW

A few weeks later, I’ve kinda finished my very first lures. A LOT to learn, but well… eventually I’ll get it all right. Pretty pleased with the perch. Not so pleased with how I painted the fins. 😛

Not owning a lathe makes room for alternative solutions. Quite wobbly, but easier than trying to get a somewhat round shape by hand.

The past days I spent some time renovating an old chisel (making a new handle in oak + front metal ring protection + sanding for ages). Kinda happy, but still annoyed by the remaining scratches. Oh well, another time.

One might suspect maskirovka if the Russians pulled the same stunts with Greenland visits, journalist invites, etc. But, my bet is that the action westward is just clueless rookies trying to mark territory. Shame the territory is Earth, and it affects us all.

Spontaneously got myself a new iPad Pro today. Speedy as hell. Accidentally experienced Universal Control, which actually is … well, nice (as long as you understand why the hell the mouse pointer wobbles around on _that_ screen and not _this_ one. Off to examine if a sub for FCP can be good or not.

Spent the evening modelling a floppy box for no particular reason (actually, I have a reason). Yes, the key is still not done. And yes, I feel like cheating on #plasticity when using #fusion360 instead... but heck, muscle memory won today.
