Ohio legislators have passed a bill allowing 14- and 15-year-olds to work until 9 p.m. year-round, even during the school year, while paying them less than the state minimum wage.

It would permit employers to pay these young workers just $7.25 per hour instead of Ohio’s minimum wage of $10.70.

This is NOT a joke.

To possibly see the Aurora in Ohio tonight simply go out to a rural field or cow pasture and allow your eyes 20 to 30 minutes to adjust to the darkness.

Even if no colors are visible, simply take your phone out and put it in night vision and you may see some pink and green.

Cleveland spends $19 million a year on costs for Cleveland Browns stadium.

In return, Cleveland collects $17 million a year in revenue from the stadium.

The Browns stink, so no post season play.

Their departure gifts 450 acres of prime lakefront real estate.

So long stinky Browns.

The Cleveland Browns lost their 13th consecutive road game today.

No sports fan on this planet has to endure the pain, frustration and disappointment that Cleveland fans suffer. It's epic, unique and sad.

Lenny Wilkens died today at 88. I used to hitch hike from Westerly to Providence to watch him play for the Friars. One of my heroes. Lenny Wilkens is in the Basketball Hall of Fame both as a player AND a coach. One of the best jump shooters in NBA history. RIP Lenny.

In Ohio you can walk into supermarkets and convenience stores and quickly and easily buy alcohol.

Conversely, if you want to buy cannabis in Ohio they force you to register with the state... drive to the worst, scariest part of your town and go through bureaucratic horse shit to get cannabis.

Man who nobody can prove ever existed saved the world.

Overactive neurons in the amygdala were found to drive anxiety and social withdrawal, but rebalancing their activity reversed these effects in mice. The work reveals a precise neural mechanism that could lead to more localized treatments for mood disorders.

In soil around mineral deposits, oxidation frees ions that travel with moisture. As water moves through roots and shoots, dissolved metals hitch a ride. One of those minerals is gold and it's showing up in spruce trees. Micro amounts but still...real gold.

I was born before WW2. When I was a child our government would hunt you down and punish you if you were NOT ANTIFA.

Now I'm an 86 year old man and our government will hunt you down and punish you if you ARE ANTIFA.

That is why we are going down the shitter at this moment.

"Reality is tied to perspective.

Take the worm for instance.

Think of a worm and your judgement of it's capacities. Match it against your own.

A worm can move it's way underground, through solid earth.

Could you?

Perspective."

"Yams are NOT sweet potatoes. Yams, look and taste far different than those naturally sweet spuds—they’re starchier, drier, and they have white or purple flesh.

It's time to start telling the truth!

Yams and genuine sweet potatoes aren't even the same species."
