Long term road trip goal
To complete Route 66 (manageable segments) before I turn 66.
I think it’s doable and there is no pressure for me to complete it all at once.

(Dusts off account) It’s almost November and my neuroma is starting to make itself known again. I was certain I would have had to have surgery over the summer but I lucked out.
I go back to the podiatrist next month.

(2/2) if I didn’t have another race I’d go all in but I don’t want to hit the hills nor do I want to hurt myself or have a setback.
I do foresee surgery to fix this issue though. 😩

Austin half marathon is I 2 weeks and I’m undertrained. I’m also concerned that my neuroma wasn’t relieved after my cortisone 💉 a few weeks ago.
I think I have a plan - I’ll go as long as I can can then not finish. I’m okay with that since I have another race the month after. (1/2)
