Fireworks are so much more exciting now that I’m a dad. Nothing says ‘celebration’ like seeing if my kids can sleep through a grand finale at 12:52 am. Truly keeps the adrenaline going. 🙄

Christmas was magical when I was young. Kids get too much through out the year. Not sure my boys experience that same magic. I must be getting old lol

It’s been an emotional rollercoaster since Tuesday. Finally calm and clearheaded. Things will be tough in the coming years, but there is no point in quitting before those times even arrive. Prepare, stay aware, pray, and enjoy those things that make you smile. Going to try to take my own advice.
