One of the things that's consistent between Twitter (back when it was, indeed, Twitter) and this platform is that over 50% of the comments in response to a relatively thoughtful post like this add nothing to the discourse and are completely worthless froth.
This is the guy Trump is installing as FCC chair.
The point here, IMO, is not that he’s going to go in and start yanking licenses.
But by saying things like this he can intimidate broadcasters into covering the Trump administration more favorably.

I have become obsessed with debunking this. The incoming fascists are all saying "mandate, mandate, mandate" as if it actually becomes true if they say it often enough. Total fucking bullshit.
The substance of a mass-deportation policy is obviously paramount, but let's not brush past the whole "we got a mandate" claim:

Many have hypothesized that Trump faked the assassination. He is a serial liar and would do anything to escape a prison sentence. The agents let him up while and are smiling. Isn't it their MO to lay on top of the target and not let them up? IDK. Thoughts?
