While I have watched at least some of every Big Brother season, I lack the stamina and willpower to be a super fan. Almost every season we hit a point when I get frustrated with a season and just stop watching. Often, in the end game. Frequently, when production does something dumb. #bb27

True story: Several years back I had a frozen shoulder, and could only raise my arms to the Nazi salute range. I was always very worried about accidentally giving the wrong signal. When I told people that, their response was almost always, then don't raise your arm.

I just finished the book They Both Die at the End and if you're wondering if a book that spoils the end in the title can still wreck you emotionally, the answer is yes. #booksky

Started the day with the news about New Orleans and then found out the friend I spoke to about going out for New Year's ended up going out without inviting me. Obviously not the same level of tragedy or anything, but not feeling 2025's vibes so far.

I'm predicting Joey will win, with Ilona and Chandler in at 2 and 3, Stephen 4 and Danny 5. I think Joey probably has the best combination of scores/votes. Stephen winning would surprise me but make me happy. Danny winning would be the only outcome I'd find a little disappointing.

My goal this year was to read 100 books. I've currently read 174. Of those 174, 100 were checked out from the library. I purchased (I think) three: Gracie Gold's memoir, the all in one Throne of Glass series on kindle, and Real Americans (to treat myself for book 100). I do pay for Kindle Unlimited,
