The Miami @grandslamtrack.bsky.social 1500m showdown saw Ethiopia's Freweyni Hailu claim victory in 4:06.96! Nikki Hiltz from US secured 2nd (4:07.08), with Ethiopian Diribe Welteji in 3rd (4:07.46). The 800m race to crown the Grand Slam champ is set for tomorrow at 3:42 PM Miami time!

Ethiopian 1-2-3 finish in the men's 5000m race at the Shanghai Diamond League. Berihu Aregawi lead the charge to victory in a meeting record time of 12:50.45. His compatriots, Kuma Girma and Mezgebu Sime, finished second and third, respectively, both setting new personal bests.

Tsige Duguma smashed the Ethiopian women's 800m record as she won the Shanghai Diamond League race with a meeting record and world-leading time of 1:56.64. She improved the previous Ethiopian women's 800m national record, held by Workuha Getachew, by 0.03 seconds.
