Due to insane flight prices, I get a downtime day before returning back to King and Country. So far I've visited two bookstores, had a baby say hello to me on the bus, and eaten *excellent* cake.

The Scouse accents in Metaphor are hilarious. They're so Beatles-esque - nobody I know speaks like that.
I love that this game uses regional GB+Ireland dialects!

Just getting round to reading about Square Enix, Sega, Capcom and Taito talking publicly about game preservation at SIGGRAPH Asia 2024.
I am so happy our industry is beginning to acknowledge that this stuff is important AND has huge business value.

On the way to Cape Cod, and we made a stop at the Electromagnetic Pinball Museum in Pawtucket. Really reinforced that I want to drive PlayStation to have a physical preservation archive that people can see. We have so much cool history.

Having an absolute nightmare at this hotel in Surrey. Moved rooms once because of a noisy radiator, and had to swap to a single bed to do so. Now find out there's no shower gel in the dispenser. Hand wash shower it is 😬

I am so excited about the direction our preservation team is headed in, and the trends I'm seeing in the industry. We should have existed 30 years ago for sure.

All of my favourite peeps from over the other side seem to be migrating. Not sure I have the spoons for so many social medias but I shall certainly try!

Not enjoying the PlayStation Studios layoffs we've seen at MM, VASG, and Bungie. Or any of the other industry peeps too, for that matter. Hope everyone can land on their feet.
