PGMOL and FA have a meeting in August to decide who they want to win the league. This year they decided it was Liverpool so all VAR/refereeing decisions go for Liverpool and against any challengers. It was decided Saka and Rodri would have long term injuries to assist this.

What’s one of your lowest points you remember coming out of stadium watching Liverpool? April 99 we got beat 1-0 at home v Leicester, Ian Marshall scored late winner. Then come out ground man united come from 2/0 v Juventus to win 3-2 get to CL Final. Seemed Liverpool years away from success!

Don’t like losing any game. Losing cup final playing so poor disappointing but was Carabao Cup not CL final. Newcastle on headlines on national news and blue shite celebrating like they’ve won trophy themselves!! Levels let’s just win this league as quickly as possible!

No interest in England, but looking at the squad Liverpool players chosen and non Liverpool players you probably wouldn’t put any in your Liverpool first choice starting eleven? Maybe Kane only because we’ve got Jota and Nunez?

Great finish from Nunez, both nailed on penalties. Makes it more comfortable getting equaliser so early second half. Arsenal two games before we play but their not Man City of last few seasons always expect them to drop couple of point. 3points closer to number 20

TAA short of confidence? Contract issue? VVD again yesterday having words first half? Doku (no end product) all the tricks but TAA first half was like watching youth player making his debut. His regression one of few negatives this season. If he leaves only thing we miss is a transfer fee?

Superb away performance textbook. Salah VVD and Szoboszlai stand out. Endo a warrior. Workmanlike throughout the team only negative was TAA. Gone is negativity from Wednesday Let’s get number 20 won

Prefer Jota or Nunez to start. Don’t like the Diaz central position been anonymous in most games. Halaand not playing personally negative for Liverpool Konate and VVD more comfortable against him.

CL and PL always priority. Learnt a lot about fringe players. Youngsters can’t have much criticism but Tsimikas shocking not sure how he’s still at club, Quansah championship level, Elliott atrocious never be first team regular, Diaz has one good game in 7/8 games. Jota anonymous.

City look like the ageing team Dalglish left at Liverpool and Ferguson left at United. Needs rebuild from GK through whole team. Spending money this window, do they feel got off with charges or spending before any punishment

7 out of 7. Players getting minutes and players getting rested good game management for rest of season. Chiesa a talent could be bonus if fit till end of season. Robbo been out of sorts Tsimikas gives 100% but nowhere level required. Class LB improves a talented team going for trophies

Dust settled after yesterday.Tough fixtures to come but league table looks good.Not an FSG in or out debate but only couple injuries away from derailing strong position. Before end of month LB good enough to go straight into first 11 plus CB and competition/cover for Gravenberch give more confidence
