I completely agree. Social media can pay dividends if we approach it with open minds. I came here looking for #photographers, but gradually I'm following writers, academics, historians, journalists, and artists of all kinds.
This has got me thinking. The ‘echo chamber’ criticism assumes that social media is only about politics. But it’s also about literature, art, science, nature, ecology etc and we’re all learning from each other here all the time (if we engage that way).
What’s BlueSky like? Well a follower yesterday thanked me for posting something that made them Google Heinrich Heine.
