Some colored sketches from a dream I had the other night. These creatures will now be added to the Sightless world called Astra. In my dream was this bastardized pilot whale with no eyes and a neck that was way too flexible. It was in a pool that was unfathomably large.

One of my Weevryns. This species are found on a planet that doesn't use sight. Most creature don't have eyes. Normally they are calm but this feels got a nasty taste in his mouth. #koishiikitty #biorave #dragon #dragonart #originalspecies #fantasyart #scifiart

Redoing this one. Old version on the left was from 2007, new sketch is on the right. I have the protons pencil for the old version some where but couldn't find it. This is Koishii and one of the Shadowmares that lurk around her.

I hate trying to photograph my work. I can't get accurate photos or video of her. I used Pearlescent powders so in person she has the softest lavender glow with this subtle blue sheen... and the camera hates it all. This is the part about art I hate. Who ever buys her will know.
