"Memorable and disturbing" is my new Tinder bio thnks
Many thanks to the small audience who turned up for my reading of The Coronet at @worldfantasy2025.bsky.social — I feel quite self conscious wearing my glasses but might as well plough on.

Thanks to Ann for organising and to @bingewriting.bsky.social for a memorable (if not disturbing) performance

Abyss isn't out until May but if you're a Netgalley person you might be able to get an ARC.

Some people have, and have already said some nice things!

Time for ep. 372E! A disgraced cop must revisit her past choices to save the world from a nightmarish future. EXTREMITY is a wildly entertaining time-traveling, end-of-the-world police procedural! @bingewriting.bsky.social @macmillanlib.bsky.social

12) #Extremity by @bingewriting.bsky.social - 4.5/5

This time-traveling, end of the world police procedural feels like it was written for me. Searingly unputdownable with a trippy narrative, its bleak, cynical & darkly humorous & possibly the novella of the year

Extremity by Nicholas Binge
This time-traveling, end-of-the-world police procedural with shades of Nicole Kidman’s Destroyer is an unputdownable thrilling ride with an interesting narrative choice

Not a bad review, eh?
Vinay reviews Nicholas Binge's time travelling police procedural EXTREMITY, out now from Tor:

"searingly unputdownable and is easily in the running for best novella of the year"

Congrats on pub day, Nick! Who somehow found out that that "sci fi noir crime thriller" is the cheat code to my wallet.
This crazy sci fi noir crime thriller is out today in the UK and I can't wait for you all to read it!

Available in hardback, ebook, and audio from all reputable retailers (and probably some disreputable ones too!)

If you can, support your local indie!

Here's my winning pitch from @bloodyscotland.bsky.social (still seems mad saying that!)

Sinners meets the gothic unease of Don’t Look Now with the broken investigators of True Detective. At its heart, it's not just about a monster that may destroy a city, but the trauma that can destroy a man.

"If that kind of 'SF turns horrifying' works for you, Extremity is definitely, even extremely definitely, worth a try."

A lovely review from @readingreality.bsky.social on Extremity, out on Thursday in the UK!

What would you do if you discovered the CIA had reviewed your debut novel? 👀

That’s exactly what happened to @davegoodman.bsky.social with A Reluctant Spy — and he tells the story in this week’s episode of In My Good Books.

I'm lucky enough to be one of Nick's crit partners so I read this *as it was gushing out* and let me tell you I am yet to fully recover. If you're a fan of existential horror, you want to get this on your TBR, stat.
This time last year I sat down with some pretty dark thoughts and a full novella gushed out of me in one giant bleed.

Anyway, it's coming out via Tor Nightfire on May 12.

You into infinite corridors, ancient hunger, isolation, cannibalism, self-loathing, etc.? Join me in the darkness next May.
