Today, HMICFRS, the Independent Office for Police Conduct and the College of Policing jointly confirmed that our super-complaint is eligible for investigation.

This means that the issues raised will now be investigated and responded to.

On 9th January, the Medical Practitioner Tribunal Service rejected the General Medical Council’s case that Dr Abu-Sittah had committed misconduct. This brings to an end proceedings pursued by the GMC for more than two years.

The inquest into the death of Rammond Higgs concluded on 15 December 2025. The Coroner found that Rammond died on 21 April 2021, by suicide, having been suffering from acute and chronic depression.

The Inquest into the death of Rammond Higgs is set to begin on 8 December 2025 at Winchester Coroner’s Court.

Rammond died on 21 April 2021, having fallen from the roof of a building within the grounds of the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
