BREAKING: The Colorado Rapids are finalizing a deal to acquire center backs Chidozie Awaziem and Ian Murphy from FC Cincinnati, per sources.

Deal worth $1m GAM + add-ons, I'm told.

Awaziem, 27, has 34 caps with Nigeria. Murphy, 24, made 105 apps w/ FCC.

FC Cincinnati had to be reactive all year putting out fires and were still one of the best in the league.

Always a little sad when @fccincinnati.com starts to announce roster decisions, but I'm looking forward to seeing what the roster looks like for 2025. We have a new forward and more center backs than we know what to do with. What's your biggest question regarding the 2025 roster?

Sources: FC Cincinnati have completed a deal to sign Togo int'l forward Kevin Denkey from Cercle Brugge.

The fee is $16.2m, setting a new league-record.
