@secretedinburgh.bsky.social Exodus, Chapter 20 (The Ten Commandments), Edinburgh Queen's Hall. The dedication tells us that the piece was originally in Buccleuch Parish Church. This building previously housed Newington and St. Leonards Parish Church. The Lord's Prayer and Creed also on display.

@secretedinburgh.bsky.social On Morrison Street there is a shop which used to sell carpets. It has a large glass fronted showroom and a loading bay/garage. Was it a car showroom, or a Post Office?

It has this single piece of intricate plasterwork. I've always wondered about its history.
