Mutual aid organization based in Reno NV. Volunteers distribute food and other needed supplies each Saturday morning at Barbara Bennett Park. The government is not coming to help, so it's up to each of us to take care of each other. Food is a human right.

It's hard, seasonal work, but a solid paid contract of 6+ weeks plus room & board can be a good springboard to relocating to NV or CA. If that's been on your mind, this option has worked for some.

From local Food Not Bombs chapters to mutual aid hubs operating in disaster zones - the growing size and scope of anarchist and autonomous mutual aid efforts is impressive. As politicians continue to slash basic programs, these projects will continue to be a lifeline in many communities.
