I think I just wish that both percentage and watch time made more of a difference in both categories so that video length wasn’t as much of a factor as it currently is.

From a monetization standpoint it makes sense since long form videos play more ads the longer they are, and short form plays ads between shorts so all that really matters is keeping users scrolling.
But man does it feel shitty to be limited in both algorithms by how long your videos are.

YT watch time priorities always feel weird. Long form rewards watch time regardless of watch percentage. Meaning a shorter vid than usual gets punished for having less watch time.
Shorts are the opposite where percentage is rewarded and longer shorts get punished for having worse percentage.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the 2XKO beta but it’s undeniable how cool of a project it is for FGC. Big studio backing, with famous ip, accessible, queue duos. Then they crunch to rush out a 10 character launch roster and cut the dev team.

Yeah I wouldn’t call it “hypocritical” I just thinks it’s way easier to tell when something looks or sounds off vs when you have to actually read a bit of the writing to get a feel for it.

Like people always (rightfully) dunk on the shitty image/video generation, or the stupid sounding voices. But I feel like the writing usually gets more of a pass. AI writing is so long winded and boring I get mad every time I notice it.

Should exp share be optional? Probably. But let’s not act like it makes the games too easy when these games were never hard to begin with.
Anyways the real answer for the Gameboy side is to just play better RPGs with actual gameplay nuance so you don’t have to pretend exp grinding is difficult. 🫣

I would recommend as a very funny hate watch, but most of the show is incredibly boring and nothing of interest ever happens between the bits that are just comically bad.

The most fascinating part about this show to me is that it’s incredibly well reviewed! Like 8/10 avg ratings.
Some of the worst writing I’ve ever seen in a show period, but ig the target audience doesn’t care as long as it “owns the wokies” and has 17 year olds to ogle at.

Even season 1 is really questionable. I distinctly remember almost every middle aged man in the show thirsts over the main character’s 17 year old daughter and it’s always played for laughs.

Genuinely this update has more content than the OW2 launch did. They def fumbled with initial OW2 launch but they have done so much with the game in the past year. Take off that 2 with pride 🫡
