I enjoy bicycling, boating, and good beer. The order of importance between bikes, beer, and boats varies daily. I live in Ohio.
I did @bikecleveland.bsky.social Cranksgiving today where cyclists bike to stores and buy whatever they can afford to go to local food pantries. The only rule was everything must be hauled by bicycle. This is my bike and the total haul from around 40 cyclists.

Now that its almost November and my summer toys are put away, it's time to start looking for a fun fat bike destination for when it gets cold. Normally I go to the upper peninsula, but I'm looking for other fun areas places this time. Any suggestions within about a 10hr drive of Cleveland?

Brewery ride is over. 47 miles from Akron to home. The towpath was flooded for about 10 miles which made it kind of fun. I'm sure after riding thru that much standing water I'll have cable issues or something when the bike dries out.

Day 3 of the brewery ride. Today's brewery is Eighty-Three brewery in Akron Ohio. The ride here was 47 miles from Bolivar ohio. I'd say this brewery is ok, its not great and next time I come to Akron to go to brewery, this will not be the one I come for and probably not even on the list.

Day 1 brewery ride was a success. 57 miles from Lakewood to Wooster ohio and now I'm at JAFB brewery. I tried to stop at a few along the way but they weren't open for lunch. Tomorrow I ride to Bolivar Ohio for Lockport brewery.

How can this happen, Michelob Ultra is the top selling beer? Seriously, come on people there is a TON of way better beer than this, even some water sources have more flavor than this beer. Go to you local brewery and try something new.

Question-I got bitched at by an "older" lady as she left my marina for my stereo being loud. Who doesn't like AC/DC, bestie boys, warrant, the doors, rage against the machine, and quiet riot loud? (Aside from the obvious cranky woman leaving) I guess I wasn't alone I'm my marina like I thought

Tomorrow we have to return boat we chartered to play around the Mediterranean back to it's home port. It was a GREAT trip and the last port of the trip is sad. (I guess I have to return to work next week)

Deleting ALL work apps off my phone and leaving my work PC behind the leaving for 2 weeks - 1 to explore Velencia Spain and 1 to sail the Mediterranean on a chartered boat was a great vacation decision. I've lost track of what day it is. It's awesome. (Also kudos to my employer for supporting it!)

While in Valencia Spain last week I convinced the wife to rent some bikes. She rented an ebike and now wants one which is good. Even better was getting to bike around Valencia. They have great scenery, great infrastructure, and lots O' fun. Now it's boat time.

Our few days in Velencia were so much fun we would like to return some day. Now we are off to Mallorca, this was our first peek after getting off the bus from the airport. One night here then we jump on a catamaran to sail around the island.

I had the day off so I decided to ride my fat bike to my marina(Cleveland to Sandusky) without really being in shape to ride the fatty that far. It was tiring, but I'm not dead so I'll be in better shape!
