Interesting, I suppose I am an Embedded Librarian given that neither of my workplaces have a physical library space, but I've never had it in my job title. #iclc25

Good point about confusion from clinical staff on why the Embedded Librarian is there. I've also experienced the opposite, where clinicians assume a much higher level of medical knowledge than I possess - appreciate the vote of confidence, but need to scramble to look things up sometimes! #iclc2025

'Turn up to the opening of an envelope' would be good advice to Clinical Librarians who need to increase visibility (though in my experience, workload tends to increase rapidly for solo CLs once people know about your services!) #iclc2025
