Matthew Stafford's 3 playoff losses with the Rams...

2023 - 367 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
2024 - 324 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
2025 - 374 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs

QBs with 320 yards, 2 TDs, and 0 INTs in the playoffs are 34-11.

Stafford has 27.2% of those losses.

Last night sucked.

Seasons like this are rare. Matthew Stafford was playing at a MVP-level. Puka Nacua had an OPOY-caliber season. Davante Adams showed flashes of his all-pro level.

This very likely could have been the Rams’ final best shot with Matthew Stafford. "Run it back" isn't guaranteed.
January 26, 2026 at 2:32 PM
I really think today is about going pass heavy and running the ball as an extension of the offense.

Get in 11P and utilize the misdirection/smoke and mirrors. On 2nd-and-longs/3rd-downs, get in empty and spread that defense out. Make them declare and play on your terms.
January 25, 2026 at 10:35 PM
Big key for the Rams today will be finishing the job.

Play 60 minutes.

In quarters 1-3, the Rams have outscored the Seahawks 37-26 and had a 0.12 EPA to Seattle's -0.31.

During the first three quarters of each game, Darnold has -0.48 EPA/db.

I'm likely going to remain a day behind on Shrine Bowl stuff.

Day 1 Standouts for me...

🔴 iDL Darrell Jackson, FSU
🔵 iOL Brian Parker, Duke
🔴 S Cole Wisniewski, Texas Tech
🔵 CB Ceyair Wright, Nebraska
🔴 OT Aamil Wagner, Notre Dame
🔵 LB Jackson Kuwatch, Miami (OH)

I still can't get over this throw.

This is MVP level.

Had a 28.8% completion probability per NextGen stats.

Far hash to far sideline vs. one of the longest CBs in the NFL. That's how you thread the needle.

I feel oddly confident about the Rams game today.

Anxious, but confident.

If the Rams ride Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, Matthew Stafford plays an efficient game, and the defense does enough, they will win.
January 18, 2026 at 5:58 PM
The Bears are apparently considering a MAJOR shakeup on the offensive line via the Chicago Tribune.

No Ozzy Trapilo leaves ??? at LT. Assumption was Theo Benedet or maybe Braxton Jones in his place. It could be Joe Thuney who gave up 10 pressures at LT vs. CLE last year with KC.
January 17, 2026 at 9:15 PM
The Bears have been the third-worst team defending under-center play action this season.

Matthew Stafford from under center play action?

144/214 for 1,735 yards, 24 TDs, 1 INT with a 127.4 rtg.
January 16, 2026 at 8:50 PM
Both Rams RBs play a role in the offense, but Blake Corum could be the x-factor in the run game.

The Bears allow the 6th-highest explosive run rate in the NFL on defense. Since Week 7, Corum ranks sixth in the NFL in explosive run rate (min. 100 carries).
January 16, 2026 at 5:57 PM
I think it's one thing to underrate the Rams pass defense.

It makes no sense to underrate the Rams run defense.

They had a few slips over the last 8 weeks. But even since Week 14 (last 6), they are 6th in rushing success rate allowed.

Been awhile, but thinking I might be back for good.

Not sure what Elon did to the algorithm, but seems as if it's been purposely set up to create division/conflict and therefore a toxic environment. Just not a good experience right now.

The Rams drafting TE Terrance Ferguson feels like a long time coming.

The Rams ranked 4th in EPA/pass out of 12 personnel last season. If you think Sean McVay isn’t cooking up something…you haven’t been paying attention.

A way-too-early look at QBs the Rams could target with their extra 2026 first-round pick:
🔹 Arch Manning
🔹 LaNorris Sellers
🔹 Drew Allar
🔹 Fernando Mendoza
🔹 Nico Iamaleava

This class could define the post-Stafford era in LA.
Arch Manning and 4 other quarterbacks the Rams should want in 2026
The Los Angeles Rams made one of the biggest moves of the draft when they traded down in the first round. It wasn’t just that the Rams traded back, but it was also the fact that it gave them a...

There is going to be a lot of focus on Arch Manning to the Rams for obvious reasons.

...however, he's only started 2 games and both Peyton/Eli played for four years. May not even come out in '26.

I'm much more intrigued by LaNorris Sellers at QB post-Stafford. Even like upside of Drew Allar.

What if the Rams had taken Trey Amos at 46 instead of a TE?

I drafted along with every Rams pick—and the results were very different.

The Rams didn’t draft an offensive lineman.

They didn’t draft an early wide receiver.

They barely touched cornerback.

And yet... the 2025 roster might quietly be coming together perfectly. 👀

I really do like what the Rams did with this draft class.

It probably won’t line up with '23 or '24, but added some solid pieces. Love Ferguson, Hunter, Paul, and Mumpfield.

Everything Snead did fits where the team build is at right now.

WR Mario Williams, Tulane
iOL Willie Lampkin, UNC

Jarquez Hunter has been a popular player that I have mocked for the Rams. Made my final mock draft and included him in my Day 3 mock this morning.

Brings 4.4 speed and only behind RJ Harvey in career explosive run rate. 33% of his runs b/2 the tackles went for 10+ yards.
April 26, 2025 at 5:06 PM
Terrance Ferguson made my Snead's Snacks list as an honorable mention.

Was one of my winners among tight ends at The Combine. He tested really well. Showed out in Mobile at the Senior Bowl. Think he's going to be a great fit in the Rams offense.
