Mostly photos of things, mostly from around the Glasgow area.
A Kingfisher stand-off by the River Kelvin in Glasgow. The adult male on the left here, sitting on a branch giving an aggressive display to another Kingfisher who sits a couple of feet away in the same tree. The bird on the right has the darker-coloured feet of a juvenile. #birds

Some birdy artworks around Glasgow. Great Blue Heron and Eastern Bluebird, neither of which you'll bump into IRL at Trongate; signage for Kentigern's includes the 'official' Glasgow bird, the Robin; and Kingfisher on Candleriggs. Maybe best not hunting for Kingfishers after curry and beers. #birds

In Edinburgh briefly on Friday (I crossed over to the other side on Halloween) so walked a couple of miles of the Water of Leith. Trout from Glenogle Place bridge; Dipper at Dean bridge and probably appearing, unnoticed, in hundreds of tourist photos; Heron and Kingfisher behind Modern One. #birds

As we left Leighton Moss at sunset, Robin was minding the side gate and sang to us, demanding tribute. I offered exactly one whole blueberry, which was accepted, and we passed on towards home. #birds
