Coming into the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, the shutdown was about to go to a whole new level of misery with planes being grounded.
I think that has a lot to do with why the Dems in the Sen voted how they did. It would not surprise me to learn that the 8 who did were chosen by leadership.

I prefer boycotts and strikes to "revolution". Actually, boycotts and strikes are the equivalent of economic revolution.

Violence isn't the answer.

For the rest of your life, IF you get to vote in an election, you don’t have to listen to a thing the candidates say. All you have to do is check who is funding them. THAT is how you’ll know what they will DO once in office. The words coming out of their mouths mean absolutely nothing.

We watched "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" last night. It was excellent.

It's all BS. It's only ever been BS.

What was the point of the shutdown?

Are 50-year mortgages making a debut?

It's only ever been about people being in lifelong debt.

Didn't know you were a serf/slave/vassal/peon, did ya?

When the politicians cave, all we're left with is either authoritarianism or revolution. What a fukin bloody mess.

Relying on the Democrats is like relying on fog. When it clears, nothing has changed. They stand for nothing. Imagine following Susan Collins' lead. How fukin pathetic!

It wasn't just Bill among the Democrats.
Bill Clinton makes a notable appearance in Virginia Giuffre’s memoir.

Maybe that’s why the Dems were never so eager to expose the network until they had a GUARANTEE these files won’t be released.

Reliance on politicians and political parties is proving to be our undoing.
The Republican Party has proven to be a criminal enterprise. While we can vote, we must always vote to replace Republicans. Sadly, for the time being, the only viable non-Republican choice is the Democrat.

We just had our 7th or 8th call today about Medicare enrollment. We block everyone. More call - it's like dealing with the Hydra.
Any politician who can stop this or at least try to is worth our votes - deserves our votes.

We've never recuperated/recovered from 9/11. Fear became rampant and we traded our freedoms for what we believed was protection/security.
The neocons were the first to move on this with Cheney leading. He controlled W.
After W left office, the damage got worse.
We couldn't take a punch.

People deserve to be called on what they did - regardless of party.

The Republican Party is a criminal organization.

The Democratic Party is a disorganized, weak party. I don't give the Democratic Party credit for what the voters did out of disgust with the Republicans.

I have no use for politicians - regardless of party.
Nancy Pelosi didn't allow the House to impeach Trump after the Mueller Report came out. It was one of the biggest mistakes in our politics.
Biden appointing Garland was another.
Garland waiting 2 years to appoint a special counsel was a third.

We're a nation of 340 million people obeying a leader who is a psychopath. His minions are imbeciles.
We allow ourselves to be governed by vicious, greedy, sadistic, haters who are literally tearing our country to bits.
We allow ourselves to be brutalized by the thugs they set upon us.

Trump said last night's whupping had nothing to do with him because he wasn't on the ballot. He is that delusional. Next year he won't be on the ballot either so let's make sure to hand him another ass kicking. You may be exhausted but the work starts today.

Dick Cheney Trifecta:

War Criminal
War Profiteer
Disaster Profiteer

Mass Murderer - over 200,000 Iraqis killed
Famous lie - Weapons of Mass Destruction
Famous grift - No bid Contracts - Iraq and Katrina

He also shot his hunting partner in the head.

Are we done now? Can we put this "greatest" bs to rest?

The buffoon is literally tearing down the White House. Imbeciles are running the country.

This bubble looks like it's about to pop.

I found this on Facebook.

Obama blew it on the ACA. It was not bipartisan. Susan Collins voted no after Obama stood on his head to satisfy her.
Obama should have gone for a single payer (Medicare For All) bill. He had the votes.
What we ended up with was a betrayal for those of us who believed "yes we can".
The ACA was a health care compromise that was agreed to due to GOP aversion to a single payer, Medicare For All, system. It has been a great success despite GOP attempts to undermine it. And don't forget they named it Obamacare as a ploy to hurt him in 2012. That failed too.

Shades of the Eagles Nest and Berchtesgaden.
If Trump's policies are so wonderful, then why are some of his Cabinet living on military bases in protected housing? You'd think they would love to live among the masses and take in the adulation.

Trump is building a ballroom.

Have you read "The Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allan Poe?

The people in what has become known as the United States watched their government sink into fascism on June 21, 1788.

Any questions?
