ok, NO scope creep this time. this thing is going to be a playable prototype by the end of the month.

was almost having too much fun coding a game. looked at the clock and went “oh man i gotta get ready for work!”

i would spitball game ideas on here because i concept them in my head constantly but i should just make them instead!

Once i fix what SHOULD be the last major bug in this thing im gonna start making a little game every month or two. gotta get my process down

screw it. going to implement integrated-web-browser-based customizable tabletop gaming into my social game. how hard could it be [<- famous last words]

couple more steps with that game’s engine update, and it’s back to features. and balancing that time with actually making new games.

troubleshooting compatibility with a major engine update...

Soon after i made this devblog there was a small resurgence of interest in a social game that i maintain mostly by myself, so i redoubled my efforts on it. so there’s no real Godot game progress to report but im still squashing all sorts of bugs just about every day.

just some foundational gamedev over the last week or so. had a different game idea and decided that if there's any time to pivot, it'd be after spending just a couple days on the racing thing. i'm not going to pivot again aside from maybe detours through jams.

I've decided I'm going to actually finish one of my games for once, and i'm going to post small progress updates just to keep myself moving forward.
This is the current state of a horror rally racing game (working title "Hellrally").
The physics are from scratch. Need to refine them.
