Unpopular opinion:
1)What is happening in America is hugely concerning.
2) It is in both Britain‘s and Europe's interest to work closely together.
3) Neither Brits nor Europeans can afford to openly break with the US right now.
4) Making the most of that impossible situation is very hard.

“We’ve done a big piece of work segmenting the Reform voter base. We found five distinct groups. Immigration ties them all together, but they differ widely in other areas, especially tax and spend, which creates some very difficult traps for Farage,” @pimlicat.bsky.social says.

Last November Farage told Sky News:

“I’ve just exchanged contracts on the house that I’ll be living there in – is that good enough?… *I’ve bought a house in Clacton* What more do you want me to do?”

Oh, I dunno Nigel.

Tell the truth?

Some pretty grim fringe sponsors at Reform UK conference this weekend. Big tobacco, climate deniers and more. Oh and the Telegraph of course.

The Oncologist is talking about stopping my mums chemo as she is finding it hard due to her age. Shes had 1 session, shes said she'll do session 2, if they agree shes strong enough at the weekend. She was due to have 6, then 4, then 3, now it looks like it might only be 1 or 2???

The chemo effects have hit my mum, and it's so annoying that there's nothing i can do to fix it.

Fantastic news. My mum only needs 3 chemo treatments, not 6.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social My mum is a pensioner with limited mobility. She has just been diagnosed with cancer and had surgery. The hospital is £100 each way in a taxi and not accessible via public transport. She doesn't receive pip to cover her transport costs.
