A lot of people are under the impression that this means Trump can’t pardon Meadows. And it’s true that Trump can’t pardon Meadows for the Georgia charges, but it’s not because Meadows’s removal effort failed. Meadows is charged under state law, and a president can’t pardon state crimes. 1/
