#Hands Some of my many mittens knit over the years: fingerless, longer, fleece lined with stitched on leather patches for cold weather driving. Worsted mostly, with one fingering colorwork. Most are knit from a basic pattern and imagination. The rest ? Who knows!

FO of a hat knit in KnitPicks Wool of the Andes worsted in Oyster Heather and black. Pattern is a staple with doubled brim. That, and the colorwork make it super warm. Design is on I graphed myself, as it includes a rock band's logo adaptation for my daughter's friend. Purchased pompoms. #KnitSky

I just had the cable break at the join on Chiaogoo interchangeable. I am so pissed. These were a gift, and damn expensive.

I was thrilled to be able to purchase some yarn in a real LYS yesterday, as there are none actually local for me. So today I caked yarn and dragged out my substantial stash to organize. Now working on a hat requested by my daughter for her friend. Whew.

And, it's a FO! Mitered square baby blanket in Lion Mandala acrylic so it's washable. For a friend who is imminently awaiting her baby girl!

FO Friday! Socks for my darling DIL are all done! Stocai Bunusa toe up version knit in Expression Fiber Arts Resilient Sock in Shadow Shift. The beginning and end of the skein produced a difference in color saturation, but that's ok! #KnitSky

Socks are done! Stocai Bunusach knit with Trekking XXL yarn from my stash. This was the cuff down version, and I learned that I should make the toe up option. Grafting the toe is NOT my thing. At. All. But they fit! #KnitSky

The aurora borealis is dancing here in lakes country Minnesota tonight. Picture details in Alt notes. I have never seen such bright red and pink in the sky!!

Throwback Thursday for me. Started Quant headband from Knitty (not sure what year, but designer is Star Athena). I am using Mochi Plus by Crystal Palace from my stash. I haven't made this in years! I am thinking the pattern is from 2007 or 08??

I finished a couple WIPs that have been sitting since last winter. Nalu fingerless mittens in yellow. Rino mittens in blue. Worsted weight wool yarns from my stash. Before blocking. #knitsky

It's done. Completed my Selbu Revisited sweater in Alpaca yarn from Rich-Nes Farms here in Minnesota. It's washed & on the blocking mat. I tapered the sleeves & added some pattern & contrast color ribbing to the collar & cuffs. It fits well, with colorwork starting just below the bust. ##KnitSky
