I was working 2 years to put SvelteKit in production to do this talk.
It was a hell of a journey. Svelte has given me not only an awesome technical framework, but also so much more with love and support from the community.

Svelte 5 has finally clicked with me. Idk what it is about learning new syntax but, I always feel like the biggest idiot in the world for the first 2 days 😂.
But then all of a sudden it will make sense. Finally released the migration of my rich text renderer and svelte 5 made the code way better!

Today I wrote a 60 line Svelte action that allows you to create an input that formats phone numbers as users type.
It also checks if it is a valid phone number as well.
Still haven’t checked every edge case but, hoping this can help some people out 😅
