Does anyone have access to the paper Reuse of social media data in corpus linguistics by Mikko Laitinen and Paula Rautionaho, published in the International Journal of Corpus Linguistics? Somehow my institutional access doesn't work... Thanks :)

Just back from the Generics and Stereotypes conference, and yes, I know it’s a cliché—but it really went great. A genuinely warm, stimulating atmosphere, with just the right number of participants to allow deep, cross-disciplinary insights, while keeping discussions focused and personal 🤩

In Naomi's experience, making data openly available "leads to recognition. I’ve been contacted many times based on my data. I see that it makes a difference in how people perceive our discipline and how I’m evaluated in my field."

Very saddened to hear about the passing of Distinguished Professor István Kecskés. I had the privilege of spending time at Uni Albany in 2018, during the final months of my PhD. His guidance through thorough feedback & weekly meetings on my chapters was invaluable.
