The margin of victory was fewer than 500 votes. If we get complacent thinking victory is inevitable then that tiny lead will disappear and trump/trumpism will win in the next election. If just 500 people had decided to stay home the story would be completely different right now. Let's be careful!!

Remember how people on the left kept saying over and over like a mantra that both parties are exactly the same? How the biggest left-leaning social media pages kept saying there's no reason to vote for either candidate? I keep thinking about that. I wonder if they'll ever admit they were wrong.

I’m scratching my head wondering why people who say they’re on the left are complaining. This is what you bought with your protest vote. You were repeatedly warned that this is what was coming if you protest voted against Harris over Gaza. You got your way and made Harris lose, so stop complaining.

They knew what she was coming on here to do so they preemptively took action. That’s called being proactive instead of reactive, and I congratulate Bluesky for it. Her being banned is common sense and I’m glad to see common sense winning somewhere.

Sure would’ve been nice if Gaza protest voters had thought about this before staying home or voting 3rd party. They didn’t punish Harris. She’s fine. They punished everyone else.

While we’re at it we should repeal predatory interest laws so that people can have the freedom to take a $1000 emergency loan at 23 and only have to pay on it until they’re 93!
