Sheffield will be the UK’s biggest city to trial side-road zebra crossings — simple, low-cost changes to make streets safer. We’re already leading Yorkshire on School Streets. This is the next step.

Great to visit our Urban Traffic Control Centre team in the Town Hall — the nerve centre keeping Sheffield moving.

Congestion could cost the UK £21bn a year by 2030. Tackling it is all part of our plan for quicker public transport, fewer delays and a better-connected city

Labour’s new Water Act is now in force, banning exec bonuses at water firms like Yorkshire Water when they pollute our rivers or break the law.
