First Class train carriages shouldn't be a thing any more.
Especially when the train is reduced from 9 to 5 coaches, having the first two coaches being first class still, such that the remaining three are sardine cans is a ridiculous way to go about things.

The Blue Whale arrived a little while back, and with that, my 'monochrome' Invicta x Natural History Museum collection is complete. This includes the original box set of 12 that I had as a child, with duplicate models to those on display and poster that came with it.

I've caved. I'm a completionist. Here's the Invicta Stenonychosaurus/Trøodon [sic] that arrived from ebay this week.

And I have the Blue Whale and Dimetrodon on their way. Updates on those to follow! Not checking my credit card statement this month 🙈

The new Haolonggood Diplodocus is possibly my favourite dinosaur model in my collection. The face is wonderful, the body sculpt is beautifully detailed, whilst being reasonable for 1:35 scale, and did I mention it's long? Like, 75cm long!

Finally, the colour scheme is striking and so believable.

I thought I was done, but I got very lucky and found one of the remaining Natural History Museum x Invicta dinosaurs on ebay at a price I could (just about) justify!

Whilst I think Badenoch has been and will continue to be a disaster for the conservatives (yay), her position on Ukraine and her willingness to side with Starmer over the US in support of Ukraine is admirable. Not every recent Tory leader would have done so.
