It’s always the first week after school gets out that my family and I get caught up on all the household chores that have been put off since Christmas. At least we have a cleaner home and a lot less stress.

My solution to making the world a bit better. Practice showing empathy, demonstrate the ability to truly listen and not rebuttal with hostility, and have the maturity to love others even if their beliefs differ from your own. Love your neighbor as yourself.

I ran for the first time since August. I didn’t make it as long/far as I wanted to, but I have to start someplace. Now comes the long process of getting stronger and better. #onedayatatime

Six years ago today our first child was suppose to be born, but was called to go to God’s heavenly home. Even though time does quite heal this wound, I rejoice in the good news of the resurrection and the gift of eternal life through Jesus.

It’s hard to believe that it’s is December tomorrow. The more years I teach the faster each school year seems to go.

I do not need any discounted electronics on Black Friday. But let me know when/if groceries are discounted up to 30-75% off. It’s the only thing that would get me to shop in a store at 4:00 a.m.
