I thought United’s style of play was better in the second half, though the link up was worse. Once positioning gets drilled in, with a few lineup tweaks, I could see this working.

Onana and Mazraoui were the standouts today. Can’t help think Amorim needs more time in training to get them used to his system. Slightly worried how aghast he looked coming out for the second half, he looked shell shocked.

Bluesky feels like going back in a Time Machine. Definitely needs a bit more of a transitional period as certain people migrate over (myself included) but hard to go back now.

With Amorim’s first game tomorrow, I feel like a kid at Christmas Eve waiting for the next day to open their presents. I have this intuition, which is most likely unfounded, that he is the real deal.
