Did you know they wrote an OFFICIAL Harpejji book?! Well. Kinda. It’s a “quick-start guide” that gives information on the Harpejji, including scales, chords, and some really cool concepts that make it feel totally different from guitar, bass, or other keyboard instruments!

Today we’re turning chords into synth-like arps on the harpejji, the 24-string keyboard guitar and bass! I found out that if you route a harpejji that’s got the right effects on it, through a rhythmic gate plugin, you can make arpeggiator-like effects, as if the harpejji was a synthesizer!

Today we're taking a look at the "pianoid." The company apparently takes the chassis of broke, and irreparable pianos, and repurposes them, making them digital, so the pianos can last longer, and have a life, instead of being tossed into the junk yard!

Today I’m taking a look at the Pocket Scion! It’s a portable synthesizer that allows you to make music out of mushrooms! Seriously! I’m not sure on all the specifics, but it reads “bio feedback data,” from the mushrooms, and generates tones from it! It’s music any ‘fun gi’ can enjoy!

Today we're taking a look at the Banan-a-Synth! A currently in-development synthesizer that runs on... bananas! Kinda like those old potato clocks you could make in school! Once this thing is set up, you can play music with real, edible bananas! It's RIPE for possibilities!

Today we’re taking a look at the “modular flute”! A recently kickstarted flute that’s basically musical instrument lego! You can change the parts out, and customize it, to give the flute different timbres and tones! But is this flute fantastic, or is playing it like stepping on a lego?!

Today we're taking a look at amping the harpejji! The 24-string keyboard guitar and bass! Previously I've mostly played the harpejji clean, without effects, just to show different examples of the instrument, but that's hardly how I play it normally! You can get an entire world of sounds out!

Today we're taking a look at a reed organ! An electric powered piano that pumps AIR through it! It's got the sound of an accordion, or a melodica! But is this keyboard as cool as a cool breeze, or is it just full of hot air?!

Last year, I contributed to a kickstarter for an instrument called a "modular flute"! And it arrived today! It's a flute with over 20 different combinations and sounds! Gonna be talking about it real soon!
