Not only all of this, but its just actively a bad marketting decision. People hate AI. The moment they find you using it, they're gonna stop supporting you, your entire credibility goes out the window.

If you need to use AI, honestly?
Skill Issue. Get Gud, loser.

I will never use AI for my covers, editing, translation, or anything else. It is not only useless to me as an author, it is actively hostile and harms every skill related to book production.

If you're an author against AI used to generate writing, you better back everyone else in the chain too.

Personally, I also think TRON Uprising also had that sort of feel, but what I liked most about that series was that it took place entirely in the Grid. I wish Disney wasn't so afraid of letting their IPs be weird and stylistic like TRON was initially...

I think what's impressive about TRON is that, visually, it's still so much more interesting than any of it's sequels. It's crazy that they tried update this digital world by making it as 'realistically rendered' as possible. It's a complete misunderstanding of the original's charm.

Some Transformers: Down to Earth character designs! #bemusedart #transformers #maccadam
A digital illustration of four Cybertronian characters. On the left is Airdrop, a helicopter whose design is reminiscent of Top Gun and military clothing. He's got a red visor and green/brown plating, with a prosthetic right leg below the knee. Next is Euphoria, a TRON light cycle whose whole aesthetic is eighties hero incarnate. Their color palette is a lot of tealish blue and white, with a bit of black for pop. The third is Slipcast, a Vespa scooter. Her design is inspired by the seventies, with bell bottom-like legs and warm oranges, complimented by warm blues. The final design is Depthworks, made by aspendistrict. She's a cabover truck, colored in dusty purplish-browns and greys, with a jumpsuit sort of look and a trailer tail. Airdrop and Depthworks are of comparable height, while Euphoria is about half of their size, and Slipcast is closer to a third.
