i'm so ridiculously excited for the new spartacus show coming out next month... crazy feeling to fall in love show 12 years after it ended and then learn they're making a new AU spin-off and against all odds it looks incredibly good and seems to have all the stuff that made me love the original 🥹

pluribus REALLY reminds me of the work of my favorite contemporary speculative author, seth dickinson... it has a similar fixation with taking thought experiment concepts to their logical extremes
