been definitely too focused on studying and not balancing it enough with my personal drawing time and burning out. starting to find out how detrimental that can be! managed to get myself to draw today and im internalizing soooo much more than i realized. ill have some art to post here soon ^-^

i really wanna pursue a less anime look in my personal work, but its hard cause so many of the artists i look up to that regularly post are so anime influenced! just gotta branch out and see what i like ^-^ realizing how important curating my taste is to developing my own art

im finding that as i draw more consistently, im also getting more excited to draw again! i feel like im over the hurdle of struggling to start and it makes me feel happy ^-^ still on the hunt for community though! i think that itll be nice once i find it to have a place to be socially creative

part 1 of me and my gfs soul link randomizer playthrough where i draw each of our pairings on stream as we catch them! it was a fun exercise to try and draw something interesting with 2 interacting subjects quickly! we'll be streaming more of this over time, next time i'll make sure to plug it here!

figure practice from yesterday! still need to focus on learning construction but im enjoying this mix of breaking things down and also using intuition to explore figure ^-^ hopefully ill pick up steam and have more productive studies soon

i never really understood sketchbooks until i started an infinite canvas. it makes it so much easier to get started on sketching or studying when its surrounded by other art and i imagine a sketchbook is sort of the same! though starting a fresh page does sound fairly daunting. ill keep trying both!
