Those who feel uncomfortable with others never realize when they are becoming oppressors because they see others as less human, less worthy. Pay attention to the outcome of your behavior/choices.

Too many of us are never taught a desire to know, fot example those who advocate for trade school education. Trades are fine but we should all be given a drive to learn throughout life. This crucial element would make society much less susceptible to propaganda and manipulation.

If you aren't teaching about mistakes of past generations you are inviting new generations to discover and repeat them. Moral progress requires recognition of past poor behavior.

And for better or worse we know now that the right is more susceptible to propaganda, thus the financial success of right wing media. This will remain a problem for generations until the Fairness Doctrine is brought back.
