Okay my hot take is that special edition books are overrated. They're usually beautiful, sure. But the absolute insanity that comes from trying to get your hands on one is cringe worthy. It's a cash grab & everyone is just getting played.

Traditionally, Sailors earned a sparrow tattoo for nautical miles traveled and would often get their tattoo at a port shop. I did these in Salt Lake, but they were earned in the Pacific. These were so special for me & made me feel connected to the rich history of tattooing. #traditionaltattoo
