On a mission to photo the soon to be withdrawn Stagecoach South East's ADL Enviro 400 buses I ventured into Margate's Mechanical Elephant where a lovely pint of Exmoor Breast was drunk & captured some buses outside.

With no good real ale pubs in walking distance of Ipswich station, I hopped on an earlier train that doesn't stopped at Stratford & detained at Chelmsford. Ventured to the Ale House just a couple minutes from the station. A couple of pints & then on the next service to Stratford.

Have got to my last for today end of the line at Felixstowe - the last in East Anglia to do! Now on way

Arrived at my first end of the line destination - Kings Lynn.

Now transferred to Great Northern's 387305 for my service to my first end of the line destination - Kings Lynn.

My steed from Margate this morning - 395029 - on a journey to do hopefully two end of the lines in East Anglia; both which I missed out on doing in the early 80s.

As a real ale drinker I'm that keen on cloudy beer, but I have to say that Northdown Brewery's Tidal Pool is an exception especially when drunk at the Brewery Tap.
