1: Think of thing in 3D
2: Sketch thing 2D
3: Model thing in 3D
4: Export 2D profiles
5. Program 3D parts on 2D profiles
6. Cut 2D sheet into 3D parts
7. Assembly in 3D per 2D print

We are currently on step 3

I just finished up the assembly of this 6" jointer with a 46" long bed - AMT 4126.

It's got new blades, belt, motor, wheels, switch, cord, and even some misc hardware.

I can't wait to make some chips, but it's past quiet time in basement shop 🤫

So close to getting this beast back up and running. I tore it all down for a good cleaning, and replaced a few pieces (blades, belt, switch, cord, motor, and misc hardware).

I just need to get a better chip chute fabricated before reassembly.

I can't wait to dial it in!
