I’m fully convinced that dude bros put Trump in the White House explicitly so that more women will be raped. Especially female service members.

Anything untaxed or preferentially taxed, like businesses, like churches, will eventually tend toward corruption.

I am a bit impressed that Trump was able to recruit a whole other population into his racist platform that were previously sitting out of the elections. Proof that not only is this who we are, are are far more this than we had ever realized.

As a white dude looking at demographic information in the recent elections it’s just so so clear that one of the driving forces is just how threatening women and gay people are to straight white men and men in general. Good god our masculinity is fragile.

For all the chanting about “we’re not going back” this country seems pretty eager to go back. The fact that the comfort level seems highly correlated with race says a lot about the country’s motivations

There must be at least some comfort in the fact that nothing the Trump administration is planning to do is truly new in American history. Mass roundups and sundown towns are hardly novel. Weaponizing the FBI against minorities, liberals etc, is what it’s done for most of it’s existence
