Very optimistic to think this is as stupid as it gets, if only considering that they've just destroyed their own department of education. Their kids and grandkids aren't even going to be *able* to read, never mind have history that tells the story accurately

I feel confident in predicting history will judge this decade or so as the absolutely stupidest time in American history.
Honestly our kids and grandkids will read about this time and be shocked that adults existed.
