I started drawing an otter. I like custom portraits in Rift of the Necrodancer. If you use vibe, He'd use party poppers. I feel like this one is drawable to me, but only if I can manage to stop drawing other things.

I watched a video about perspective square and decided to give that a try. Since New Years is soon, I tried for some Chinese New Year zodiac animals. I tried drawing them with different expressions too. I set a timer for 5 minutes each to see what comes out from memory.

Day 4 (Today) - I worked on the model today. I restarted from the beginning after watching a video. I struggled with the teeth part for a while so I broke them off. I'll try sculpting to bring the vertices up to a point. That's for next time.

Day 3 - I'm pretty happy with this one. I want a silence keychain. I see that most people use a side, top and front (sometimes a back).
I started to form the shape in Blender and then immediately didn't like it. Maybe next time.

Pose needs to be adjusted. Not sure how, but I'll keep moving lines until I feel it. Proportions don't feel right.
Can't tell if original angle was going to be any better for the pose.

Finally had gotten yellow filament so I could remake the first one. I think it looks better than my first attempt years ago. Bought the trapper pin about a week ago and I'm looking forward to adding it on. Hoping to see new kobold pins in the future. @grumpygryphon.bsky.social

With the original artist's permission, I made a kobold friend come to life through 3D printing. I bought @grumpygryphon.bsky.social 's pins and made a board for them. I did the same for her previous KS too, but that kobold doesn't look too great so I plan on remaking them soon too.
