This could not be further from the truth. The world is far kinder than radicals would like you to believe.

The changing of the meaning and definition of the word "gender" was not done organically. It was top-down social engineering. Not longer than 30 years ago this was the official, normal meaning of the word, understood commonly by the general public. Is it now completely forgotten?

I highly doubt it given the current X-odus being very politically driven. Personally I've moved here in hopes to bring that kind of balance.

This isn't news to anyone, but Nazi in modern contexts means "right wing" and "right wing sympathetic". The modern left fantasizes about fascist authoritarian rule and so have to bring their opposition down to the same level to justify it.

This rhetoric is dangerous, Takei is using violent language (skirmish, warriors) hoping to incite socially vulnerable people into physically retaliating against a democratic system. You will not see him on the streets, he will remain in this safe space for four years hoping for violence in his name.

Personally I have migrated over to add some balance to the discourse. I imagine others like me will be on their way too.

I think everyone is aware that America and the World will still exist as it already does in 4 years, perhaps slightly less left aligned than one might hope for. That's why despite the election cycle being rife with talk of such apocalyptic outcomes the narrative is now to merely wait it out.

To be clear, I am not encouraging such drastic action, just pointing out that if one truly believed democracy was at threat it makes no logical sense to merely speak your condemnation, if anything this would make you a target of the new authoritarian regime.

I think there's come clear doublethink happening in the belief that Trump's election and second term will bring about some horror, tantamount to genocide and/or the end of democracy itself. If that were true, would you not feel obliged to take drastic action instead of merely protesting?

This kind of divisive thinking is why the left lost the 2024 election.

Unfortunately that is just life. You can't expect to live among people you only will ever agree with on everything outside of the internet.

America will be better off with Trump over the next four years. The left wing has to learn that they have left the moderates behind with years of radical bubble rhetoric and it is not the death of their vision to meet at common ground with those they disagree with.

Transgender ideology is just that; an ideology. it must exist under the same rules we have for other systems of ideas like religion. Nobody should be forced into obedience to a single way of thinking, imagine we let christians bully us into compliance for causing them offense?
