Going on Facebook is like going into a really small, crowded room and everyone is yelling.

Phew, this flu/viral cough thing that’s going around is no joke. Glad to be on the other side of it, two weeks of misery at our house.

Accidentally bought like three pounds of artisanal Valentine’s candy for myself while in a fit of…what are we calling it? Existential desperation? Anyway, now it’s just my will to live vs. my will to go down in sugar coated glory.

All it took to turn today from a pretty decent day (all things considered) to a mess was uttering the phrase, “this was a pretty decent day” at like, 3pm. Too early, dumdum! The die has not yet been cast!!

Some mornings, as I tape my toes together because they can’t handle the solitary life and I shuffle my insoles based on how much time I’ll spend standing vs. walking, I think back to days of yore when I could just rawdog shoes. Aging is embarrassing sometimes.

Happy Audition Season. I’ve had a recurring dream that I have a cold (I do not).

Trees are down, monthly 5k is run, lunch and dinner packed for tomorrow, lecture prepared. Might have been unintentionally productive today!

The plan today is to take down the Christmas festivity. This has been the plan for the last 24 days. Stay tuned to see if 25th time’s the charm.
